The EU might “respond swiftly and decisively” against what it deems “unjustified” travel bans issued by the United States against five European individuals involved in combating online hate and misinformation, a European Commission spokesperson has said.

EU Officials Decry US Move as ‘Coercion’

European leaders including the French president accused the US administration of “bullying and threats”, following the travel bans targeted individuals who have been at the heart of campaigns to enact legislation regulating American tech companies.
